The course brings together all the instruments of the symphony orchestra. It enables apprentice musicians to discover a range of formations, from small chamber music ensembles to symphony orchestras and string and wind orchestras.
Trainees will take part in a musical tour of Colmars, a Chamber Music concert in St Martin’s church and a closing concert at the Fort de Savoie.
Les Musicales du Haut-Verdon was created by the members of a solid teaching team. For over 30 years, the teachers have shared their passion for music and teaching at the Stages de Musique en Languedoc in Narbonne. The eighth edition of the Musicales du Haut-Verdon workshop will take place from July 17 to 29, 2023.
It will bring together a large number of symphony orchestra instruments, enabling apprentice musicians to perform in a variety of formations (chamber music, string orchestra, wind band, brass ensemble, symphony orchestra…).
This 2024 session of Les Musicales will welcome 60 trainees. Instruments taught will include violin, viola, cello, piano, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, trumpet and horn.
During their stay, trainees will perfect their instrumental skills and take part in a variety of ensembles. Emphasis will be placed on collective work, with individual coaching for each section.
The Musicales du Haut-Verdon training course is aimed at musicians at the end of their first cycle or CEM level.
