If you hear the word sandstone blocks in a chestnut forest, you’ll answer…. Annot! A site with a variety of routes to suit all levels of climber.
In the heart of a listed natural site, large boulders up to 20 metres high are scattered around the area, placed there as if by magic.
Scattered through a forest of chestnut trees, making climbing a pleasure even in summer, they are easily accessible from the village.
Here, you can climb in all seasons. Climbing in the rain is not recommended, however, as the water weakens the sandstone, making it brittle.
La grande pyramide, La petite pyramide, Le zodiaque, Les galopins… represent 127 varied routes, from 3c to 8c+.
