We are fortunate to be in the Verdon Regional Nature Park, where wild landscapes and protected flora and fauna make it a truly unique place. Whitewater activities are regulated to preserve the biodiversity of these aquatic environments and to ensure that the various activities on the Verdon—such as fishing and whitewater sports—coexist harmoniously.
To take part in whitewater activities, you need to be able to swim, pets are not allowed and reservations are made directly with the whitewater companies. Don’t hesitate to contact them, they’ll be delighted to help.

In the Castellane area, the Verdon is a tributary of the Chaudanne dam, so water releases are essential for whitewater activities.
