Sainte-Sévère church is located at the top of the village, on gently sloping ground bordered to the north by the cemetery. It has an elongated plan with two naves and a flat west-facing apse.

The main nave is covered by a groined vault, and the secondary nave by a semicircular vault. The church walls are of mortared rubble stone. The church is covered by a long-sloped shingled roof; the sacristy and adjoining chapel are covered by a shed roof, also in shingles. The main east-facing façade features three openings: the door in the center of the façade, an arched bay at mid-height illuminating the secondary nave, and a bay in the upper part of the façade, slightly off-center to the left, illuminating the main nave. Against the chevet stands a square bell tower, covered by a four-sided shingled roof. The south facade has three arched windows, while the north facade has a single arched window. At the back of the nave is a timber-framed gallery accessed by a winding staircase. The whole church is covered with yellow-ochre plaster, the pilasters of the main nave with pink-ochre plaster and the vaults with white plaster. The choir is slightly higher than the nave, and can be reached by two steps. The east-facing floor of the main nave is made of white and black cement tiles, while that of the secondary nave is covered with flooring. The sacristy forms an appendix to the south of the church, extending a chapel against the main nave. The sacristy is lit by two rectangular windows. The cemetery is enclosed by rubble stone walls. It opens onto the square to the right of the church and through a gate behind the sacristy.
