Sentier Blanc-Martel
-
This is an unmissable hike if you want to admire the Grand
Canyon from within. You’ll walk upstream next to the Verdon
river from Chalet de la Maline to Couloir Samson (the Samson
Corridor).
This hike offers a unique panoramic view, with the path
overlooking the river. This hike is difficult and varied with the
Brèche-Imbert stairs and the passage through the tunnels (with
the Baou tunnel being 670m long). Make sure you have a torch
for this part.
The duration of this hike and the weather conditions must be
taken into consideration to enjoy this hike as much as possible.
Not recommended for children under 8 years old or for people
with severe vertigo.
Dogs are forbidden. Swimming in the Verdon is also forbidden.
There is a paid shuttle service between April and September
linking the start and end points. Ask at the tourism offices for
more information.
