Sentier découverte de Châteauneuf-lès-Moustiers

Situated six kilometres from La Palud and perched on a
small hill overlooking the surrounding plain, this town, with
its many hamlets, was home to 600 inhabitants in 1836.
A booklet for sale at the tourist information office at La Paludsur-
Verdon unveils the heritage and history of these remains
which you can see by following the discovery trail.
If you walk for another ten minutes along the old Roman road,
you will reach the Notre Dame chapel, built inside a hollow of the
rock face. It is a short climb to reach the chapel and this can be
done in addition to the one and a half hour hike
