Our region is rich in diversified, high-quality agriculture.
In fact, there are over 200 farmers in the Communauté de Communes Alpes Provence Verdon (CCAPV). While most of them focus on long-distance sheep farming, this production is complemented by many other products: honeys, dairy products, meats, aromatic plants, fruit and vegetables, etc.

Nestled in the heart of the Grès d’Annot since 1879, the Moulin de Champ Vermeil processes chick peas and rice which are used to make specific regional products. Our mill is organic and gluten-free labelled and we pay special attention to the quality of our products. You can find them in the Annot tourist office and in the supermarkets in the vicinity.

La Brasserie Cordœil brasse depuis 2006 des bières naturelles biologiques à Thorame-Basse. Le nom « Cordœil » vient de la montagne du Haut Verdon qui donne l’eau d’une qualité exceptionnelle grâce à laquelle on peut créer nos bières. La lente alchimie qui transforme orges et houblons suit des méthodes ancestrales. Mais avec un matériel high-tech qui procure une qualité artisanale améliorée et une souplesse incroyable. Et tout cela dans le respect de l'environnement ! En plus des bières, vous trouvez maintenant une limonade à l'ancienne, un cola, une eau-de-vie et un whisky.
