1/Can the Verdon Gorges be closed?
No. The Gorges du Verdon are in the Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon where you can circulate freely.
However, occasionally the access to the 2 km by boat, from the Pont de Galetas (lake of Sainte Croix) to the entrance of the Gorges, is closed during strong gusts of wind.
