In unspoilt countryside, in the heart of the Verdon Regional Nature Park and close to the Mercantour, discover chamois, roe deer, golden eagles and vultures at the “benchmark” paragliding site in the Southern Alps.
The access road to the take-offs is fast and allows you to appreciate the richness of the landscape and local flora in the company of your guides.
Once you’ve reached the Chalvet summit, at an altitude of almost 1500 metres, you’ll be amazed by the exceptional views from the take-off points over the mountainous terrain of the whole region and over Lac de Castillon. With orientation tables, discovery trails and picnic areas, even non-flyers will have a great time!
The huge take-off areas allow you to take off with peace of mind. You’ll fly over the villages of Saint – André les Alpes and Moriez, the Verdon river, the magnificent Lac de Castillon with its turquoise waters in summer, and the lavender fields. With a little luck, golden eagles and vultures will do you the honor of sharing a moment of flight. You may also catch a glimpse of chamois on the cliffs, or a company of wild boar that scurries away when we fly over them!
Depending on your choice at the time of booking, the flight will take place in calm aerological conditions, early in the morning, or will provide thrills in the ascents in the late morning or afternoon. And don’t miss the evening flight at sunset…
The landing is soft, on a grassy field, in front of your family or friends.
