This trail starts at the picturesque hamlet of La Valette, in the commune of Thorame-Basse. Once there, turn right onto the forest track which takes you across the Issole torrent via a ford.

On the way, you’ll pass through a cattle park.
The tour then continues as you climb through a magnificent larch forest. At the end of the climb, you’ll discover the semi-troglodyte Boules hut. This unsupervised hut is open all year round. It has a wood-burning stove to keep you warm, and a water source nearby. You’ll have all the amenities you need to spend a night in the mountains with family or friends, enjoying the comforting crackle of the wood fire in the stove.
This tour offers a true immersion in nature and a unique mountain experience. Take the opportunity to recharge your batteries, admire the beauty of the scenery and share convivial moments at the Cabane de Boules.
