- Can the Gorges du Verdon be closed?
No. The Verdon Gorges are located in the Verdon Regional Nature Park , where you are free to move about.
Be careful!
The 2-km stretch along Lake Sainte Croix from the Galetas Bridge to the entrance to the gorges may be closed during inclement weather (heavy rain, strong winds, etc.).
Pedal-boat, stand-up paddle and electric boat navigation will be suspended until weather conditions improve.
