Sun and wide open spaces

Set amid vast expanses of pristine snow and forests, the Colle-Saint-Michel cross-country ski area enjoys optimal sunshine. Located between the Vaïre and Verdon valleys, it offers exceptional views and opens the door to the great outdoors.

Gilles’ advice:

If you take the north-facing slopes, you’ll have an exceptional view of the Vaïre valley and the hamlet of Peyresq. Perched on a rocky outcrop, its lord was Claude Fabri de Peiresc, a great humanist of the 17th century, and today it welcomes scientists from all over the world.
