The Coulomp, which has been designated a “river in good condition”, is a preserved mountain stream from its source to its confluence with the Vaïre. It is home to some magnificent fario trout. You can discover this wild and beautiful river by climbing up to the hamlet of Chabrières from the village of Braux, or by taking the “Le Coulomp” hiking trail.
Awarded by the Rhône Méditerranée Corse water agency, the “Rivière en bon état” label is awarded each year to rivers with impeccable ecological quality.

Published annually by the Fédération de Pêche des Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, the fishing guide details all opening/closing periods, authorized sectors, practical information, etc.
