Markets and Yard Sales in the Verdon Region

A living tradition in Provençal villages, the Verdon markets set the pace for the week and bring life to the town squares of the 39 municipalities in the Alpes Provence Verdon region.
Local products, crafts, lavender, honey, regional cheeses, and olive oil: each market has its own unique character. In the summer, food festivals and night markets attract visitors seeking an authentic experience.
Throughout the year, garage sales, secondhand markets, and flea markets round out the calendar of must-see events in the Verdon region.

Garage sales, secondhand markets, and flea markets

Garage sales are part of the village traditions of the Verdon region.
From April through October, the towns in the area organize garage sales, flea markets, and community sales. It’s a chance to hunt for antiques, Provençal furniture, books, or old tools, all while enjoying a friendly time with the locals.
Major fall fairs, such as the agricultural fair in Saint-André-les-Alpes, traditionally mark the end of the tourist season.
