Portraits d’ici de Rougon – Sound walk

Verdon Tourisme > Portraits d’ici de Rougon – Sound walk
Rougon-en

In April 2023, artists from La Bouillonnante took over the commune of Rougon. For several days, two authors, a sound producer and a photographer wandered around the village, meeting local residents.

Using their “windows”, they wrote portraits of the men, women and children who live in the village and bring it to life. From this material, they invented an in-situ poetic and sound walk to leave a trace of the adventure.
Local residents and the curious are invited to discover, listen to and take part in this stroll.
Commissioned by the Parc naturel régional du Verdon as part of the Grand Site en projet des Gorges du Verdon project, with the support of the commune of Rougon.
This project was made possible thanks to the financial support of the European Union through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development – Europe invests in rural areas, the Alpes de Haute-Provence department and the Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
