The museum displays a wealth of objects, documents and authentic photos, some of them extremely rare. Several life-size reconstructions of scenes from underground and maquis life enhance the visit. The museum aims to be a European reference, and its library and archive center are a further educational tool. Out of respect for the victims of this period, we’ve avoided showing unbearable, all-too-familiar images, to make it a pleasant family visit during the vacations, when, in addition to the sunshine of Provence, you’ll have good memories of having discovered something different.
