From the Haut-Verdon to the gateway to Provence, from Lake Castillon to the Verdon Gorges, the Alpes Provence Verdon region—comprising 39 municipalities—brings together villages that are all very different from one another.
Five flagship towns serve as focal points for exploration: Annot and its sandstone cirque, Colmars-les-Alpes and its Vauban ramparts, Entrevaux and its drawbridge, La Palud-sur-Verdon in the heart of the Gorges, and Saint-André-les-Alpes on the shores of the lake.
