The lake of Castillon is the first reservoir of the Verdon River and is located in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon. The Lake has a length of 8 km between Castellane and Saint-André-les-Alpes and it is about 500 ha. When it comes to surface area, this is the second largest reservoir in the Valley of the Verdon, after the lake of Sainte-Croix.
