Assaulting the Entrevaux citadel

At the heart of this fortress perched 156 meters above the village, step back in time and imagine life in the dungeon, its former dungeons and its underground passages.

After a 30-minute climb along the paved path designed by Vauban, the 360° panorama will reward your efforts.

Admission fee
Due to the steep incline and the cobblestone path, the climb to the citadel is not recommended for people who have difficulty walking.

Entrevaux's rich olive-growing heritage

A symbol of Provence, theolive tree can be found at the gateway to the Verdon, near Entrevaux. Grown in terraces on the slopes of the town, the olive tree is an integral part of the village landscape. As in most of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region, the most common variety is theaglandau, which gives a fruity green oil.
