Located in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon at 1905m altitude, the Mont-Chiran observatory welcomes hikers and those curious about the sky, for an unforgettable evening under the stars!
A sustained hike through the imposing Chiran massif, culminating in a 360° view and an astronomical observatory.
Through the hills, this hike links the villages of Senez and Blieux (fine views over the Asse de Blieux valley) and follows in the footsteps of the historic route taken by Napoleon in 1815 between Castellane and Digne les Bains.
Accompanied by a guide, set off on a hike to discover the natural heritage, then in the evening enjoy an evening of astronomy at the Mont Chiran observatory. Overnight stay, return Sunday morning.
