As soon as the snow melts, the Chemins du Soleil offer two wilderness routes through the Pre-Alps: from the Rhône valley to the Southern Alps, and from the Vercors to the Mediterranean; a total of 800 km of perfectly signposted trails to discover the natural and cultural riches of the massif. Its sporty nature shouldn’t put off those who prefer a gentler approach, as the many accommodation options along the way mean you can multiply the number of stages and take the time to discover, at your own pace, a territory, its people, landscapes and surprising heritage. The French Cycling Federation (FFC) has joined forces with the GTA to label this major crossing: a real guarantee of quality, making the Chemins du Soleil one of the top 5 mountain bike crossings in France!
