This is the kingdom of the tichodrome échelette. Stand still and pay close attention as you watch this funny little grey bird with its mottled tail and thin, curved beak hanging on the wall and concentrating on tracking insects. It opens its wings spasmodically, displaying a beautiful pinkish-red and brown color.
We never tire of seeing the Cascade again and again! It’s spectacular in spring when the snow melts, and the autumn atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxing. You won’t be able to discover it frozen in the dead of winter, as the footbridge is raised due to frost and falling rocks.

On hot summer days, take the opportunity to soak your feet. Descending “on sight” to the water’s edge below the cascade. The water is cool and it’s a great place to relax and improvise a picnic.
The trail is not wheelchair accessible, but you can do it with a joëlette if there are enough of you to take turns.

For toddlers, you’ll need a baby carrier, as access with a baby carriage is not practical. Be careful on the last stretch, as the path is a little narrow and steep, and the overhanging footbridge means you have to keep your handcuffs on tight!
