We’ve put together a selection of hiking itineraries for you and your dog. But beware: this still means keeping your pet on a leash, respecting the rules of conduct when approaching herd grazing areas, and taking care not to disturb wildlife or other hikers.

Transhumance sites

In our region, where transhumance and livestock farming are very present, guard dogs work alongside numerous herds in our mountain pastures. It’s a good idea to be familiar with their work, and to observe a few rules of cohabitation.

Dogs and all pets are not welcome (even on a leash) in national parks and on certain sensitive sites in the regional park and geological reserve.
