Chalet Tuilerie sleeps 16 adults plus 2 babies in a magnificent position close to the Val d’Allos ski resorts. A fantastic year-round retreat, this large chalet is perfectly placed to offer visitors a wide range of activities during their stay. In a wooded setting, the chalet is close to the Verdon River and the villages of Haut Verdon. Villars Colmars, with its supermarket, hotel and bar-restaurant, is close by, and a little further afield is the magnificent Vauban town of Colmars les Alpes, a mountain village on the banks of the Verdon, with its ramparts, forts and exceptional natural setting. Witness to a rich military past, it combines heritage, history and outdoor activities in a typically Alpine setting. In 2025, Colmars-les-Alpes was awarded the prestigious “Most Beautiful Villages in France” label. Five minutes away is the mountain hamlet of Villars Heyssier, with its famous Saint-Pierre gorges.
In winter, visitors can enjoy downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing; in spring, the mountain flowers are a delight; in summer, the cool mountain evenings are refreshing and the local activities are amazing – try horse-riding, cycling, walking for all levels, rafting and canoeing in the Verdon, paragliding and of course the exciting activities on offer in the high-altitude villages; Autumn offers mushrooms and the magnificent colors of the trees.
Lac de Castillon offers many summer activities and the Gorges du Verdon are a marvel to discover.
