This is a challenging hike to the summit of Teillon, which is
also referred to as ‘Quatre Termes’ in reference to the four
boundaries of the surrounding municipalities.
From this pastoral mountain, at 1,893 metres above sea level,
you can see Corsica on the horizon when the Mistral wind blows

The gîte is located at the entrance to the village, on a fenced property of over 1 hectare, with orchard, vegetable gardens, small ponds and surrounded by a small stream.

Formerly known as La Garde de Dieu, the village takes its name from its role as Castellane’s advanced military stronghold. It lies at the foot of the Teillon rock, which was home to an oppidum from the early Middle Ages.
