Sun and wide open spaces

Between vast expanses of immaculate snow and forests, the La Colle-Saint-Michel Nordic ski area enjoys optimum sunshine. Situated between the Vaïre and Verdon valleys, it offers exceptional views and opens the door to wide-open spaces.

Gilles’ advice:

If you take the north-facing slopes, you’ll have an exceptional view of the Vaïre valley and the hamlet of Peyresq. Perched on a rocky outcrop, its lord was Claude Fabri de Peiresc, a great humanist of the 17th century, and today it welcomes scientists from all over the world.
