The Haute-Provence national geological nature reserve, located between the Verdon and Durance rivers, has been awarded the label for the diversity of its landscapes, which bear witness to the geological past of this massif and the Earth. It is the largest reserve of its kind in Europe.

Sainte-Sévère church is located at the top of the village, on gently sloping ground bordered to the north by the cemetery. It has an elongated plan with two naves and a flat west-facing apse.
